What the mum's say about - Prenatal Preparation:
There isn't anything I would change about the class, I love it and wish I had found it a lot earlier in the pregnancy, its just what I needed! I like that we do the squats and lunges as I need to keep my legs in check and the abs work will be beneficial for the labour and afterwards. I would definitely recommend the class to others its great!
Lydia, a regular at our class in York.
I would love to participate more than once a week! On a scale of 1-10 I would rate it a 9. I find it v helpful.
Thank you Lorna, keep up the good work (attends our class in York).
I really enjoyed the class and have booked for 8 more. I would definately recommend them to a friend. The level was just right and you gave the option of making it easier ot harder as appropriate.
Sarah, after taking advantage of her free class and choosing to 8 book more!
The class on Sat was really good, more intense than I expected but that's not a bad thing. Felt a bit achey for a few days afterwards so think I over-did it a bit, but I prefer exercise classes that give me something to work up to, so I can see an improvement, rather than finding it easy straight away. Looking forward to this Saturday, see you then!
Katy, West Yorkshire, loving the fact that she ached afterwards!
"Finally there is something out there for mum's that actually want to keep fit during pregnancy"
Lucy, West Yorkshire, talking about Prenatal Preparation
Just to let you know that baby Eliana arrived on sunday at 11.30pm weighing 6lb5oz. We're all doing fine. Labour was really quick, recorded as 3 hours! Pains started at 6.00pm and she was here by 11.30pm. I only had an hour and half in hospital before she arrived! Thanks again for your help!
A very pleased Michelle feeling the benefit of exercising through her pregnanacy at our class in Cottingley!
"Hi Fitness4Mum jsut though I would give you some feedback - I just wanted to tell you that I'd recommend your prenatal class. You show constructive personal attention to attendees' performance and wellbeing. You come across as friendly, welcoming and knowledgable. This Saturday was particularly good as you checked that we were all exercising in the correct positions I feel I can exercise at my own pace in the classes but you may wish to emphasise that possibilty more - especially with newcomers. i.e. In relation to speed (as my pregnancy has progressed I need to breathe & therefore exercise more slowly), not just number of repetitions. I feel I can exercise at my own pace in the classes. I'll be considering the postnatal classes providing there's somewhere I feel is safe and inexpensive for my two babies. "

"The resistance format was fab, so much better than just being restricted to a ball and mat"
Kay, North Yorkshire, talking about Prenatal preparation
Fitness4mum is a great way to learn simple but effective exercises you can do at home to keep fit and build up your strength for the challenges ahead! The weekly classes have kept me motivated and on track with helpful advice and encouragement from Tim (the instructor). There’s no pressure to perform or compete, just a really supportive approach to maintaining and building your own level of fitness. Plus, it’s a great way to meet other expectant mums and share your joy and pain!!!

I have really enjoyed the classes so far, in fact they are better than what I expected. I initially thought that as we were pregnant you would go easy on us but due to the amount of reps and own choice of weight it can be as challenging as we want to make it. I particularly like the fact that you explain why we are doing the exercises and how they will help us during and after pregnancy and are also happy to offer advice on other areas of fitness. Your repetition of the teaching points is also very good as I am new to the exercises it is really useful to be reminded of correct technique as with some of the exercises there are a lot of things that need focussing on. The nature of the exercises also mean I can do them at my own gym or even at home so that I can maintain my fitness as much as possible. I would definitely recommend the classes to a friend.
Donna, who also regularly attends our Prenatal Preparation class at Nuffield, Cottingley.
"Corrie (the instructor) is extremely friendly, proficient and professional, I like it that she gives clear instruction and explanation of each exercise. I also like the fact the classes have been tailored specifically to meet my needs at each stage of my pregnancy. The only complaints I have are that I would like to see a class nearer to me in Chapel Allerton/Leeds".
Dawn, an attendee of our Prenatal Prerparation class at LA Fitness.
"I started the classes when I was about 28 weeks having not done any exercise through the pregnancy. The classes were good as I could push myself to a level I was comfortable with. The instructions given in the class were clear and easy to follow. The main reason I was interested in these classes to start with is that they were on a saturday. As I work during the week (often working away) I couldn't make classes during the day. These are the only classes in Bradford that I know about on a weekend. I think other women have found this as well, there aren't many classes for pregnant women that work during the week. It was really useful to have the first class free as it meant I could see what the class was like without having to commit to paying for a number of weeks. I would definitely recommend these classes to anyone, even if they hadn't exercise previously, the classes have been excellent. I wish I had started them sooner."
Michelle, another happy member of our Prenatal Preparation class at Nuffield.
